The government’s Energy Company Obligation scheme

Under the ECO scheme, £1 billion of funding is allocated each year to improve the energy efficiency of homes of low-income households, helping to reduce fuel poverty, phasing out high carbon fossil fuel heating, and delivering progress towards the UK's commitment to net zero by 2050. This includes, Heating Systems, Insulation and Solar Panels.

This grant is fully funded zero contribution completely free, it is not a rent a roof scheme and you will own the panels outright. The solar panels allow you to generate free electricity through daylight (the sun does not need to be shining) which allows you to run all of your electronic appliances saving you a substantial amount off your electricity bill.
